The Big Buddha Cafe in Koh Samui, Thailand has a reputation as the best sunset restaurant in the famous resort. The BBC is located next to the famous Big Buddha statue in Koh Samui, hence its mane. This is a very popular spot for tourists to gather and snap sunset photos.
The Thai government has considered adding a marina in the bay right in front of the restaurant, which would be a great asset for all the businesses in the area. The restaurant offers a full service bar and serves a wide selection of both Thai and European food. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and the location couldn't be more picturesque. The restaurant is housed in a large building that can seat as many as 240 people without feeling cramped.

The best sunset view for your happy hour drinks on Sanibel Island, Florida can be found at the Mucky Duck on Captiva. Most of Sanibel has a southern view, so that's why you're better off heading to Captiva.
Mucky Duck is the only bar that offers sunset views, but the downside is that they don't offer a cocktail menu so you only have a choice between beer and wine. The Mad Hatter has great sunset views as well, but this is only a good place to go for dinner because it has no bar. Sanibel has its fair share of excellent restaurants to choose from. Doc Ford's is a local favorite thanks to its inspired and creative menu. The shrimp with Yucatan sauce is one of their specialties, and the shrimp and grits is also highly recommended.

San Diego is known for having incredible sunsets, and certain spots are especially good in terms of the sunset view. For example, if you are in the PB area and are looking for an upscale restaurant with a great sunset view, the Jrdn Restaurant is highly recommended. The sleek, modern patio is as stylish as the menu.
The Pacifica Del Mar is another upscale bar and restaurant in Del mar which serves up stunning sunset views with their excellent seafood menu. Green Flash is another seafood restaurant on Thomas Ave which is known for its delicious shrimp, fish and king crab legs served up fresh from the grill with a view to North Pacific Beach. World Famous is another Pacific Beach restaurant that draws big crowds to its boardwalk location. Watching sunsets from the patio here is always a good bet.
